When you create a project on HeyBoss, you have the option to choose between making it Public or Private.

Public Projects

A Public project is visible to everyone on HeyBoss. When you set your project to public, other users can view, remix, and use your template as their own from the community feed.

Key Features of Public Projects:

  • Visible to all users on HeyBoss.

  • Can be remixed by others, allowing them to use your template.

  • Perfect for sharing templates or demonstrating your work to a larger audience.

Private Projects

A Private project, on the other hand, is only accessible to you or anyone you specifically invite. When you set your project to private, it is hidden from other users, and they cannot view or remix your project. This setting is ideal if you want to keep your work exclusive, protect your intellectual property, or work on your project without others being able to use it as a template.

Key Features of Private Projects:

  • Only accessible to you or people you invite.

  • Cannot be remixed by other users, ensuring your work remains exclusive.

  • Ideal for personal projects or projects under development.

How to Set Your Project to Public or Private

You can choose to toggle between Public or Private based on your preference in the top-left corner.
